Chicken Hurry

I have never been sure why this dish is called Chicken Hurry, it might be because it is so quick and easy to make. At any rate it is a tasty meal, all my children will eat it, and it is easy to warm up the leftovers for later (plus I will show in another post how to make the leftovers into a completely different, and yummy, meal.)

To add a little bit of variety and balance to the meal it is probably best to serve some vegetables with it as well.

  • 4-6 chicken breasts 
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 cups water
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 package of Onion Soup Mix
  • Place chicken in a 9x13 pan (they can be frozen). Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.

  • Bake at 350┬║ F for 1½ hours, until chicken is fully cooked. Serve over rice.
